Hijacking a Chat, or Why I Don't Like My Fellow Cubs Fans

Have you ever had a conversation with someone that made you think that you'd rather spend the equivalent amount of time just tapping yourself in the forehead with a ball peen hammer?  That's pretty much how I feel every time I sit down at my computer to take in the Cubs chats on ESPN Chicago.  Now that the season is in full swing, this ends up being at least once a week, if not twice, moderated by either Bruce Levine or Jesse Rogers.  The journalists themselves aren't really the problem, but they also don't do much to filter the drivel or to discourage the really bad questions.  Dan Dakich will call people out on his radio show for being morons, and I think it'd add a little flavor to the chats if his colleagues would do the same.  Now, the smart thing for me to do would be to simply avoid the chats altogether, thus ensuring that I never get my dander up and don't have to send multiple emails to my brother to talk about the stupid questions (or, if we are to believe South Park's Mr. Garrison: there are no stupid questions, only stupid people who ask questions).  But every now and again, there'll be a gem of a query that actually gets a worthwhile response.  Or, we could get what we had yesterday, when I posted a blanket response to the questions I was expecting to see.  That resulted in a few people asking my thoughts on a few topics, which I found to be hilarious.  I intend to work on compiling the worst questions from these chats in order to share the fun with everyone.  Here's one of the worst offenders, a question that was later referenced by one of my fans:

"What if" Rizzo doesn't pan out. Can he play third and Vogelbach play first?
Jesse Rogers

If he doesnt pan out why would they put him at 3rd? And the answer is no

Here's the post that started the fun (and, for the record, the chat was about an hour total, with Jesse Rogers fielding Cubs questions for about 30 minutes and Doug Padilla enduring Sox questions for another 30):

I'm thinking I could save some time on the sure-fire questions: Not trading for Stanton or Price, Baez still needs work in the minors but Theo and Jed could still be flexible with the 500AB theory, Soler will be fine and just needs time to adjust to the US and needs more time and ABs in minors, still issues to work out with the renovation agreement but the old scoreboard will stay. Sveum's job is safe, they won't start spending on big-time FAs until the young core has had more time to mature, expect maybe 70 wins. less
